The Payments Solutions & Onboarding Specialist will lead the onboarding and commercial enablement of new Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end PSP onboarding (vendor selection, NDAs, KYC, and due diligence).
- Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure readiness and approval.
- Maintain vendor documentation and onboarding trackers.
- Support Head of Payments with commercial negotiations and RFPs.
- Ensure timely activation and tracking of PSP integrations.
- Develop PSP scorecards and post-go-live performance assessments.
- Oversee monthly balance confirmations across all PSPs, validating balances against internal data and PSP reports.
- Escalate discrepancies, coordinate with Finance and PSPs for resolution, and maintain audit-ready records.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to align payment solutions with strategy.
- Identify and escalate compliance or risk issues.
- Contribute to PSP portfolio optimisation and market coverage expansion.
Requirements
- More than 2 years’ experience in payments, fintech, or PSP management.
- Solid knowledge of KYC, due diligence, and vendor onboarding.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Compliance, and Legal.
- Experience managing vendors within regulated environments.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets / PSP dashboard tools / Jira / Confluence.
