About the opportunity:

You will serve as a key operational role under the Regional Manager, ensuring operational excellence and seamless execution of business objectives within the region. This position requires a blend of operational savvy, political acumen, and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to the Regional Manager, providing insights and support on operational, market, business challenges.
  • Performance and risk metrics monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive accountability. Perform regular reporting on risk posture to senior leadership and regulators with clarity and technical fluency.
  • Resource management: Develop and manage the company resources, ensuring that all expenses are within budget.
  • Outsource management: Oversee and optimize relationships with third-party vendors to ensure cost efficiency and compliant operations within the first line of defense.
  • Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations and compliance requirements within the first line of defense by embedding regulatory standards into daily operations.
  • Policy & Issue Management: Proactively monitor, analyze, and influence legislative and regulatory proposals. Develop company positions, advocacy materials, and testimony. Ensure government affairs strategies are fully integrated with the region's business plans and day-to-day operations.

What We Look For in You:

  • Resident of El Salvador
  • Leadership experience in operations, ideally with legal background and government relations.
  • Strong experience navigating the local political and legislative environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, fast-paced, and high-growth environment.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment, political awareness, and strong execution capabilities.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
