What You’ll Do

We are seeking a talented and energetic attorney to join the legal department, lead legal projects, and contribute to a high-impact and global team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a startup environment, brings an interdisciplinary and self-starter approach to solving conventional and novel legal problems, and is comfortable working independently and directly with business leaders. The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City.

• Design, build, and implement processes and develop resources to grow and mature the company’s legal function.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (e.g., vendor agreement, privacy policies, user agreements and terms of service, etc.).

• Support and advise cross-functional teams across the company on commercial, corporate, and other legal issues (including commercial transactions, employment, intellectual property, privacy, regulatory filings and licensing, etc.).

• Lead certain legal operations, including employee visa and immigration administration.

• Advise on complex and emerging legal and regulatory issues impacting the cryptocurrency, gaming, and technology industry in Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific (“APAC”) region writ large.

What We Look For

• Law degree or equivalent credentials from a top law school or with distinction, and license to practice law in Vietnam or the APAC region.

• Minimum of 5 years of legal practice with experience at a top-tier global law firm and/or global in-house legal department.

• Must reside in and be eligible to work in the company’s Ho Chi Minh City offices.

• Bilingual and highly proficient in the Vietnamese and English languages.
