About the Opportunity:
We need a resilient, tactically minded expert to defend the exchange. You will bring technical expertise, strong regulatory engagement experience, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, complex global environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage legal responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, enforcement actions, and voluntary self-disclosures relating to financial crime.

  • Collaborate with the global compliance, investigations, and transaction monitoring teams to identify, assess, and mitigate financial crime legal risks across business lines.

  • Act as the primary liaison and project manager when we engage top-tier external law firms, ensuring efficiency and strict cost management.

Requirement:

  • Qualified lawyer.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of in-house experience, or experience at major law firms.

  • Must understand how digital assets work under discovery, and know how to strategize for the best outcome. 

  • Thrives under high pressure, possesses excellent courtroom/briefing judgment, and knows how to keep external law firms accountable.

  • Hands-on at work and can be independent in managing complex projects whilst still working as part of a team.

  • Great communication skills in both English and Chinese.

  • Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency and web3; familiar with crypto use cases.
