As part of our ongoing global expansion, we are seeking an IT Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is a newly created position with a global scope, offering the opportunity to shape and influence our compliance framework worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of internal and external IT audits, regulatory requests, and other compliance questionnaires — assist with evidence gathering, coordinate with technical teams and other stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Finance) on assigned items, and help compile complete audit packages;
  • Contribute to gap assessments against regulatory requirements — document findings and help draft remediation plans with owners and deadlines, under guidance from senior team members;
  • Support reviews of IT policies, standards, and procedures — providing input to help ensure alignment with regulatory requirements;
  • Support control documentation and monitoring within the GRC platform (e.g., Vanta);
  • Support ongoing certification maintenance (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001) by helping coordinate required actions and evidence.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in IT compliance, IT audit, or IT governance;
  • Hands-on experience with gap assessments and supporting remediation plans;
  • Knowledge of at least one of: DORA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, NIST, or similar frameworks;
  • Comfortable handling day-to-day compliance tasks independently, while knowing when to involve a senior colleague on complex or ambiguous issues;
  • Good communication skills — able to explain regulatory requirements in practical terms to technical teams;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Experience in FinTech, banking, or another regulated industry is a strong plus;
  • Experience working with a GRC platform (e.g., Vanta) is a strong plus.
