Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first-level Quality Control checks on team outputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies, patterns, or complex cases and promptly escalate them to the Quality Control Team Lead for further review and decision-making.
  • Maintain clear documentation of Quality Control findings, audit trails, and support preparation of summary reports for the Team Lead and Management.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality Control Team Lead to ensure alignment with KPIs, SLAs, and best regulatory practices.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous development programs, applying feedback to enhance review accuracy.
  • Support the overall improvement of departmental processes and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in AML, compliance monitoring, or financial crime prevention.
  • Advanced knowledge of AML regulations, sanctions screening, and PEP monitoring processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency for data management and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under supervision and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Additional desirable skills and indicators of success:
  • Experience in transaction monitoring, adverse media review, or -Quality Control/QA frameworks.
  • Familiarity with FCA, FATF, or EU regulatory guidance on AML/CTF standards.
  • Experience with Case Management and Screening Systems (e.g., World-Check One).
  • Timely completion of Quality Control reviews within SLAs, with high accuracy and minimal rework.
  • Demonstrated compliance with internal policies, escalation procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Strong collaboration and alignment with the Senior Quality Control Analyst and wider team.
