The Impact You’ll Make
We are looking for a Data Engineer to help design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines on AWS. This role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, and delivery, supporting multiple data consumption use cases such as analytics, dashboards, and downstream applications.
You will work closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams to ensure data is accurate, available, and well-structured, while contributing to the evolution of our cloud data platform.
What You’ll Own & Drive
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines on AWS
- Build ingestion pipelines from APIs, databases, and event-based sources into the data platform
- Develop and maintain data transformations using dbt and SQL
- Orchestrate workflows using Airflow
- Implement serverless components using AWS Lambda where appropriate
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability of pipelines
- Support different data consumption patterns (BI, analytics, reporting, downstream services)
- Collaborate with the Head of Data & Analytics on platform improvements and roadmap execution
- Document data models, pipelines, and operational processes
Your Background
- At least 3 years of experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role
- Strong experience with Python for data processing and automation
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational data modeling
- Hands-on experience with dbt for transformations
- Experience orchestrating pipelines with Airflow
- Practical experience working with AWS services, including:
- S3
- Lambda
- (Nice to have: Glue, Redshift, Athena, EventBridge)
- Understanding of ETL / ELT concepts and data pipeline best practices
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Reporting Tools like Tableau, PowerBI
Nice To Haves
- Experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
- Basic understanding ofCI/CDfor data pipelines
- Exposure to data quality tools or monitoring practices
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows
- Experience with document DB
- Java, Kotlin
- Kubernetes
