About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an Associate Director / Director of Marketing to serve as the core operational co-pilot and right hand to our SVP of Marketing. In this high-impact role, you will directly lead, manage, and drive execution across designated marketing operations, events, social media, and community teams. We need a fiercely execution-focused, results-driven leader who possesses an exceptionally sharp understanding of core marketing principles. The ideal candidate thrives in high-intensity environments, excels at driving team accountability, and is uncompromising when it comes to hitting deadlines and achieving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Directly manage and provide strong, hands-on leadership to assigned marketing operations workflows, events, social media, and community teams (including driving performance for team members like Vickie).
- Execution & Accountability: Act as the primary operational engine within your managed marketing functions, enforcing high accountability, rigorous tracking, and strict adherence to project deadlines without compromise.
- Workflow Optimization: Translate marketing strategies into actionable operational workflows, optimizing resource allocation, and streamlining internal processes to maximize team output.
- Cross-Functional Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and quality control of assigned events, social media campaigns, and community growth initiatives.
- Performance Metrics: Define, monitor, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) across all managed functions to ensure alignment with overall business growth.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with the SVP of Marketing and cross-functional leaders to identify operational bottlenecks and implement swift, effective solutions.
- Culture Driver: Cultivate a high-performance, resilient, and results-oriented team culture by setting an example of high commitment and strong work ethic.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in general marketing management, marketing operations, or growth roles within tech, e-commerce, fintech, or fast-paced global environments.
- Full professional fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (both written and verbal) is strictly required to collaborate effectively across regional teams and global stakeholders.
- Deep, foundational understanding of core marketing principles ("common marketing sense"), campaign dynamics, and operational frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling cross-functional teams with direct people-management responsibility.
- An ultra-strong execution-focused and result-oriented mindset; highly resilient and comfortable making firm decisions under intense pressure.
- Assertive leadership style with a proven ability to push teams forward, challenge excuses, and hold team members strictly accountable to timelines and deliverable quality.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Nice to haves
- Prior professional experience within the crypto/Web3 industry is highly preferred, but not mandatory—a genuine interest and strong passion for the digital asset space is also highly welcome.
- Experience working in a hyper-growth global matrix organization.
- Familiarity with marketing tech stacks, project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira), or collaboration platforms.
